Improper Door Flashing

Improper Door Flashing

This Flipper wanted to put in a new door, and did!  He thought it needed flashing.  Jamming some under the door and over the ledger beam, he had to fold it a bit to fit under the door molding!  And, since he couldn't nail it from under the deck, decided to nail it on top!  To boot, he used interior drywall nails and very cute drywall screws!  Not surprising, inside under this door, the ceiling and walls registered over 30% moisture.  The Flipper had everything freshly painted with stain blocker to keep any unsuspecting buyer from knowing how seriously this "installation" was leaking.  Stay away from flipped houses!
